Why Can't I Get Rid Of Cellulite?

Many women diet and exercise religiously and still they wonder, "Why can't I get rid of cellulite"? If you can relate to this, then I have some good news and bad news for you. The good news is that you CAN get rid of cellulite, the bad news is that in order to get rid of cellulite permanently you are going to have to take a brutally honest look at your diet.

Diet is the KEY factor in both cellulite production as well as cellulite removal. If you have stubborn cellulite that just doesn't want to budge, then take a look at these daily habits which will derail the most strict diet and exercise plan.

Coffee, Tea, Regular and Diet Soda - Do you drink any or all of these on a daily basis? Caffeine is hard for the liver to process. Anything that makes the liver's job more difficult will ultimately make cellulite reduction difficult if not impossible. The solution is to wean yourself off caffeine. Drink herbal tea if you need something hot in the morning. Make coffee, tea and soda an occasional treat rather than a daily habit until you are happy with the way you look.

Sweets - Do you sneak a treat more often than you should? You should only be treating yourself once per month. The combination of sugar and fat in candies and pastries is deadly to getting rid of cellulite. Once again, it's tough on the liver to process. If you seriously crave sweets, the only treat you should eat is Dark Chocolate
. I mean really dark chocolate that is about 80% cocoa. Anything less will ruin your efforts to get rid of cellulite.

Alcohol - If you're trying to get rid of cellulite, this is a huge no-no! Beyond the fact that alcohol is full of empty calories, it reduces liver function.

Can Drinking Water Get Rid of Cellulite?

I'm often asked, "Can drinking water get rid of cellulite?" The answer is both yes and no. By itself no, drinking more water can't get rid of cellulite if you are relying on that alone. However, in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, water can go a long way in helping to get rid of cellulite.

Water helps flush the body's system and it also helps to carry away waste products and toxins from all the cells. Water is vital to your overall health and is very effective in aiding weight loss as well as cellulite reduction.

How much water should you drink each day to aid in getting rid of cellulite? The bare minimum is 2 liters or 2 quarts. If you exercise vigorously on a daily basis, and you should, you could require up to a 4 liters or one gallon of water per day.

Best Exercise To Get Rid Of Cellulite

The picture above is, in my opinion, the very best exercise to get rid of cellulite and I'll explain why I believe this to be a fact.

While it's very true that you can achieve up to 80% of your cellulite reduction goals by altering your diet, you are still left with the other 20% to deal with. About 5-10% of what is left is due to genetics and you can't do anything about that. The other 10-15% can be handled through exercise and the type of exercise you choose to do will determine how effective you will be.

Rebounding To Get Rid Of Cellulite


For getting rid of cellulite, I recommend rebounding. I believe that rebounding is the best exercise to get rid of cellulite because it stimulates the lymphatic system and the circulation in the entire body at a cellular level. Jumping on a rebounder, or mini-trampoline, just five minutes a day is a great way to get your lymph system pumping. Research has led some scientists to conclude that jumping on a mini-trampoline is possibly the most effective exercise yet devised by man, especially because of the effect rebounding has on the lymph system in the body.

Without adequate exercise, the body's cells are left stewing in their own waste products and starving for nutrients, a situation which contributes to cellulite, arthritis, cancer and other degenerative diseases as well as accelerating the aging process. Vigorous exercise such as rebounding is reported to dramatically increase lymph flow.

Most people with cellulite have decreased function of the lymphatic system. Toxins and lymph fluid accumulate in the pockets of fat. Improving the circulation of lymph system with rebounding exercise in areas prone to cellulite and reducing toxic burden via improved diet are the two most successful ways to get rid of cellulite from the inside out.

Start with just 5 minutes a day and increase slowly until you ar rebounding for 30-40 minutes per day. You'll be shocked at the cellulite reduction you will see in just a few short weeks.

Get Rid of Cellulite Naturally by Eating Raw


Diet pills, power bars and protein powders are what the diet and fitness industry would have you believe are the best ways to get rid of cellulite. Unfortunately, these dollar hungry merchants are, at best, only giving you half of the truth. While certain energy bars and protein powders are good supplements, that's really all they are. Supplements are meant to add certain essential macro-nutrients to your diet, but they are not meant to be replacements for the essential minerals and enzymes found in whole, raw foods. Diet pills, on the other hand, do nothing but wear your body out by placing unnatural demands on its metabolic processes.

If you want to get rid of cellulite naturally, then consider eating raw. It's not necessary to go to the extreme of eating 100% of your food raw. You don't have to toss out your stove or buy a bunch of specialized equipment. You also won't be preparing strange looking foods that will have your family giving you the evil eye and making a run for the nearest pizza joint. I'm talking about simply replacing more of your cooked foods with raw food. Let me give you a good example.

Breakfast is the perfect opportunity to add extra raw foods to your diet. Take half a cup of plain, non-fat yogurt, mix in one scoop of your favorite flavor of instantized whey protein and you've just made a tasty, high protein dip for your choice of fresh fruit. Get creative with this and add spices such as cinnamon or a few drops of maple extract. Have fun coming up with flavors you and your family enjoy. This little trick isn't just good for breakfast, it also makes an awesome anytime snack.

If you don't eat dairy for whatever reason, then have a handful of raw nuts to balance out the raw fruit. Nuts add both protein and essential fatty acids to your diet. I really don't recommend roasted or salted nuts if you're trying to get rid of cellulite because the roasting process destroys some of the most beneficial minerals and enzymes and too much salt will slow your loss of cellulite considerably.

Make a point to eat more salads. Snack on fresh veggies with hummus or your choice of low fat or fat free dip. Once you make a point of including more raw food in your diet, you will begin to see the opportunities that exist. It's not necessary to become a 100% raw foodie in order to enjoy the benefits of eating more raw food,but you can get rid of cellulite naturally by eating raw food. Try it today.
